TUMBLER CARE
Double wall tumblers are not dishwasher safe. HAND WASH ONLY.
Double wall tumblers have a vacuum-insulated layer between the inner and outer walls. Dishwasher heat can expand the air or weaken the seal, causing the insulation to fail. Should the seal be compromised, the tumbler won't keep drinks hot or cold. Abrasive detergents can also scratch or dull the exterior finish.
Avoid using bleach or chlorine cleaners.
Chlorine reacts with stainless steel and can cause pitting, corrosion or rust. It can also damage the rubber gaskets and lid.
Keep the gaskets clean.
Removing the rubber ring on the lid for cleaning prevents bacterial growth and mildew.
Avoid extreme temperatures.
The same way heat can damage the seal, the pressure from frozen liquids can warp or crack the vacuum seal, permanently ruining the insulation.
